He's consistently crashed into teammates, other cars, the scenery and pretty much every barrier around the US! He only won the championship when he had a dominant car and team, and has failed to win the championship by a long margin every year since. He's a proven race winner and a real character too – I sure hope some of those IRL fellas come through for him. Great to see da Matta back in a race car too. That was a helluva accident. I’m not surprised his recovery has taken so long. The fact that he's made it this far is remarkable. I can't wait to see him back doing what he does best at Laguna Seca.
