I was a Junior fan back from his Busch days even though I wasn't fond of his pa's tactics on track. Junior has always been his own man, and I do believe he's a good racecar driver. I'm not sure why the results aren't there. I will agree that he's likely not at the level that the hype around him would say, but I don't hold that against him. He is already a class act in my book and it has very little to do with his heritage. I remeber one race where he was taken out by a slower competitor - Dale did not disrespect the offending driver in the post wreck interview, he would only say that he wished the driver had a better car so the situation could never happen in the first place. It would have been so much easier to be angry, but he chose not to. Class. well if Dale doesn’t produce the results, it won’t matter a bit to me.
