In 1929 the Stutz company of Indianapolis built three special supercharged cars for its challenge to the Bentleys at Le Mans, and after the race one of them was tested in MOTOR SPORT. After years of dereliction in Essex, that same car has resurfaced, and now, fifty-seven years later, this historic machine is once more in a condition to be road-tested in these pages.
