BTCC season finale highlights

Just in case you missed out on the racing, here are some highlights of the BTCC’s season closer at Brands Hatch.

As well as Gordon Shedden clinching the championship, the weekend brought maiden wins for Árón Smith and Frank Wrathall. Wrathall’s win for Toyota was particularly special, as it was the first victory for the manufacturer since Julian Bailey’s Carina crossed the line first at Knockhill in 1993. Andrew Jordan also clinched the Independents’ Trophy for Pirtek Racing.
