Roary the Racing Car and his friend Big Chris will be making a guest appearance at Motorsport at the Palace, a two-day classic car sprint event held at London’s Crystal Palace Park. Roary and Big Chris will be putting in a special appearance on Sunday May 30, but younger visitors will be able to enjoy the Roary Zone – featuring a TV play area and a range of arts and crafts activities – across both days (Sunday 30 and Monday May 31).

Roary and Big Chris will no doubt steal the show among younger fans, but alongside the on-track action, guests will be able to stroll around the open paddock, watching mechanics at work, chatting to the drivers and generally soaking up the racing atmosphere.
The two-day event, sponsored by the Ancaster Group, will reunite a host of vintage racing cars with the famous South London venue, which until 1972 was home to one of Britain’s best loved race tracks. Competitors will race along a section of the old track – incorporating the Terrace Straight and the infamous North Tower Crescent – in a bid to set the fastest time of the day.
