Fascinating pictures of some of WBs artefacts but at the same time sad to see.
Lovely piece in this months magazine and nice to know that much has been rescued and safely archived away.

I had the honour of a telephone conversation with the great man just weeks before he sadly died. Steady Barker had given me his contact as I invited him to the centenary Kop Hill Hill Climb outside Princes Risborough that year.
I asked him several questions about encounters with the greats of yesteryear to which I received courteous and sometimes amusing answers.
Looking at his library, I can see some books of the Putnam Aeronautical Series, revealing WB’s broad range of interests regarding motoring.
