Hamilton moans earn him F1 highlights reel – Up/Down in China
The king of positive vibes has seen his crown slipping recently – a grey day in China only deepened the Silver Arrows' Slough of Despond
Motor Sport is attending the ‘Hot Hatch Sunday’ Goodwood Breakfast Club on November 6, held at the historic Sussex circuit. Members of the team will be on hand distributing the latest issue of Motor Sport, which celebrates the 30-year anniversary of Group B.
The event’s theme, as the name suggests, is hot hatches, marking 40 years since the launch of the car that started it all: the Volkswagen Golf GTi. Expect other pocket rockets such as Peugeot 205 GTis, Ford Escort Cosworths and Renault Clio V6s to be on display, too.
On the Motor Sport stand will sit a 1992 Lancia Delta HF Evoluzione 1 ‘Martini 5’. Produced to celebrate Lancia’s fifth World Rally Championship title, the ‘Martini 5’ special edition was released 25 years ago. This particular car is number 99 of the 400 made, with only 27,000km clock.
The Goodwood Breakfast Club is firmly established as a must-attend event for thousands of car and motorcycle connoisseurs. It’s known as the petrol-head’s perfect Sunday – and one of the country’s best free days out.
Each Breakfast Club has a unique theme, recent events have been ‘Soft-top Sunday’ and ‘Italian Sunday, plus the more wider-reaching Thoroughbred Sunday.
Entry is free for all – you can register your car for display or just come along to admire the wide collection of others. The event starts at 7am, with the car park open at 6.30am until 12pm.
If you wish to attend, further information and hot hatch can be found here.
Motor Sport will be collating your videos and photos from the event under the #HotHatchBreakfast hashtag on social media, and the best one of each will win a free year’s subscription. In order to qualify you will need to use the hashtag on Twitter, Instagram and on Facebook.
The event’s official hashtag is #GoodwoodBreakfastClub.
