Perhaps more one for the 2012 F1 season preview, but given Dany Bahar expects Raikkonen to take a while to get back into the swing of things at Lotus (Renault) does the podcast team think that Grosjean will outperform Raikkonen for much of the season?

Grosjean, like Hamilton in 2007 has nothing to lose does he?

I saw a headline on the Autosport website saying that Ferrari were threatening to pull out of F1 (again). I did not bother to read it (again). However, are there any circumstances you could envisage where they would actually do it?

Has Sir JYS as Guest Editor decreed that the December cover of Motor Sport will be Nigel Roebuck naked on a bed except for some designer shoes and a mountain range of money in various denominations?

Rumour has it that Button only wants a one year deal with McLaren as he's looking at Ferrari drive for 2013.

Given Button's performance this season could Alonso live with Button in the same team?

Would the podcast team like to compare Button and Alonso? They're both experienced and use their heads in the car.

As good as the RBR and Vettel is, is it just me that thinks McLaren could have had a 1-2 this season?

Do you think Lewis Hamilton is fulfilling his talent? Almost 5 complete seasons, one world championship won, but i'm not convinced he has a champions attitude.

What did the Motor Sport magazine podcast team think of this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwHO6sC7Lhs&feature=player_embedded

I've sent it following Nigel Roebuck's piece about electricity powered cars in the pitlane having the potential to be silent killers, and page 53 of the October issue where Vic Elford in his guide to the Nurburgring mentioned taking out an Eagle while testing with Jo Siffert there testing in 1970 despite doing a couple of slow, noisy laps before hand in an attempt to scare away the wildlife.

Silent electric cars could make some species extinct?

We have DRS and mandatory tyre changes in F1 beacuse spectators want more passing. We may have sprinklers because spectators want to see wet races.
Given that some spectators want to see crashes will we see mandatory crashes?
Could DCC (designated crash cars) revive the careers of Mr. Briatore and Nelson Piquet Jr.?

Seeing the huge disadvantage the leading driver has entering the DRS zone, isn't it time the FIA was charged under the sporting code. Fish in barrels just isn't sporting!

If you ever manage to get Vic Elford on the podcast...

Which of your 1968 victories gave you the most satisfaction?

[I favour the Targa but Daytona isn't a bad thing on your CV]

There have been rumors for some time that the FIA gave back part of the 100M dollars to McLaren. If the FIA did return some ot the money, what was the reason?
