Fantastic as always – thanks gentlemen.
Perhaps Chandhok has just put his hand up for Bernie’s job.
We can only hope someone like him get control, and soon.

…wonderful stuff…many thanks to all….enjoyed the Masta Kink tales, although Jacky never actually said it was the most dangerous corner he encountered….ask him again next time, please…!

What a treasure MotorSport is, from the most important print publication, to these very special treats. Wow, Redman, Fittipaldi, Ickx, and the other wonderful guests. Just stellar stuff. Mr. Ickx and Mr Fittipaldi in particular were very impressive in this podcast.

    A delight, again, as usual.

Ickx’s comments have me seriously thinking about getting plane tickets and making reservations for next year’s Goodwood Revival.

I think in the interests of journalistic integrity we need some pics of Rebecca :)

In the interests of all the best radio journalism we leave the delectable Rebecca to your imagination. Not to mention the protection of her privacy. All good motor racing teams should have at least one very pretty girl on board. Am I allowed to say that? I have.
Not sure what the next podcast will be about but it’s in the planning stage. Watch, or imagine, this space.
Just been watching the bikes at Mugello. Wow, Moto GP ( and 2 and 3) is so damn thrilling to watch. Also nice to see the sun – been raining here every day for what seems like weeks. Ugh.
Should be a good GP race, Stoner has some catching up to do, and Rossi has some points to prove. Wonderful track, too, of course!

Great stuff. Really enjoyed it. Can the interviews be actually viewed; we’re only getting the sound? Never heard Jacky talking so openly about his career, his deep relationship with Ken, his fastest ever average speed at the old Spa (263 km/hr!) on a 312, his mastering of both the Masta kink (I believe he has a secret!) and the Nurburgring thanks to his earlier participations at the Marathon 86 hrs. Yes, thanks to Mr. Ickx, I am already thrilled to be at Goodwood next year not to miss the Silver Arrows and the Auto Unions of the late 30′s. Thanks Ed.

Just love these podcasts. At 51, I was (still am) a fan of the early 70`s F1 scene when JYS/Fittipaldi/Ickx were racing. I find their stories fascinating. What courage they showed. Like your interviewers, I could sit and listen to them all day.
Love the magazine esp Nigel Roebuck column.
