Racing in the Street

Ever wondered what it’d be like to drive a Porsche 962 around the roads?

Yesterday, Maiham Media released the online version of its short film, Racing in the Street. Originally brought out in conjunction with Japanese car culture magazine MotorHead
(no connection with the band), the film’s title implies a flat out hoon around the streets.

However, what we’re presented with is a leisurely driver to the shops. Delving into the car’s works team heritage, the owner describes exactly what it’s like as a daily runabout. Be prepared, you will be jealous. This guy gets to see a Rothmans Porsche on his driveway every morning.

Never really saw the Porsche 962 as a daily runabout, but hey, why not? I want one – I suppose there are almost a hundred of them sitting around gathering dust.
