J.C.C. (LIVERPOOL AND N. WALES CENTRE).,

THE Liverpool and North Wales Centre of the Junior Car Club held its annual dinner and dance at the Exchange Hotel, Liverpool, some little time ago, when about 130 members and friends were present.

Mr. H. S. Phillips was in the chair and Mr. J. F. Simpson acted as M.C. Mr. L. F. Dyer, general secretary, responded to the toast of ‘The Club” and recalled that the Club was proud of two of its members, Sir Malcolm Campbell and the Hon. Mrs. Victor Bruce.

Mrs. Lister proposed “The Visitors,” to which Major Harvey Kelly, chairman of the Southport M.C. replied.

KENT AND SUSSEX L.C.C.

Speed trials will be held at the Race Hill, Lewes, on the following dates :May 2nd, June 27th and September 19th.

The hon. secretary of the Kent and Sussex Light Car Club is Mr. A. V. Warren, 51, Ringwood Road, Eastbourne.

NEW STOCKPORT AND DISTRICT M.C. AND L.C.C.

The next important event of this club will be the Holden Cup Trial on April 12th. The hon. secretary of the club is Mr.

G. S. Jone, ”’,Garmston,” Ashton Road, Bredbury.

NORTH LONDON M.C.

Forthcoming events recently announced include the Schoolboys’ Trial on April 11th, a treasure hunt on May 2nd and the Home Counties Trial on May 17th.

At the annual general meeting the following officers were elected for 1931 :President. Major F. G. Wright, J.P. ; captain, Mr. E. J. Edmonds ; vice-captain, Mr. D. R. Winslow ; hon. treasurer, Mr. T. Horton ; hon,. secretary, Mr. L. C. Newman ; financial secretary, Mr. J. T. Cave ; trials secretary, Mr. A. K. Colborne ; auditor, Mr. J. M. Johnson ; committee, Messrs. D. Penney, G. Plaister, G. Morris, C. A. Gray, S. Ellett, E. R. Huband, H. R. Kemble.
