The V.S.C.C. Speed Hill-Climb

As a change from circuit racing at Oulton Park and Silverstone, and later this year at Thruxton, the Vintage S.C.C. holds its traditional hill-clithb at Prescott on August 10th, the Saturday being devoted to practice. The beautiful setting (on a fine day!) of the Bugatti O.C. venue offsets delightfully the sight and sound and smell of venerable machinery brought by, even devised by, V.S.C.C. members, to this popular hill. Edwardian, vintage, thoroughbred and historic cars will be seen deporting themselves and their drivers on the hill in timed runs. The faster sports cars also run in the racing-car classes. Non-members are welcome, being charged car parking fees of 15s. per car, 7s. 6d. per motorcycle and £3 per motor coach, payable at the gate.
