Moss returns to motor racing

Although he did not race again after his Goodwood accident, Stirling Moss (in one’s thoughts of late because of that fatuous BBC-1 play “Mille Miglia” that featured him) has retained his associations with motor racing. A driver who makes Moss seem like a teenager, Prince Bira, who raced ERA, Maserati and other cars before the war as well as reappearing after the war, had dropped out of the racing world. So it is interesting that Bira is to act as technical adviser to the BMC 1800 entered from Thailand for the Daily Mirror World Cup Rally.
