The racing cars of W. B. Scott

While we are glad to report that the article of f the above title was very well received, and caused old friends of W. B. Scott to contact him from Canada, America, and elsewhere, some printing problems did not do flail justice to the Brooklands driver. Scott remarked that he thought he had lapped faster in most of their cars than his wife but “If not, good for Jill”. It may not do much for Women’s Lib. but it is only fair to say that the husband was faster than his good lady, so far as the cars we referred to in the article were concerned, round Brooklands.
