Group C tops HSCC Superprix

The awesome spectacle of Group C machines on the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit will headline the Historic Sports Car Club’s annual Superprix at the Kent track on July 17-18.

Corning hot on the heels of the Group C race at Le Mans, an excellent field is expected, including leading US runners Brian De Vries (Intrepid), Richard Bryan and Benton Bryan (Ford Mustangs), as well all the regular championship contenders.

Two races for the International Supersports Cup should include the March 707/717 of Frank Bradley, as well as John Burton’s nimble Chevron B26.

The two sportscar features are backed up by a full programme of HSCC championship action, with racing planned each day.

More than 400 entries are expected for the 16-race programme. Capacity grids for Formula Fords, Historic Racing Saloons and Derek Bell Trophy races are assured, with as many as 10 Formula 5000 cars likely to line up for the DBT counter.
