After the above, I had better hasten back to cars! There is just space to say that the Riley Coventry Rally at Coombe Abbey went off well. The three Riley organisations, The Riley Register with which the VSCC is associating itself, the Riley MC and the Riley RM Club, worked so well together that 658 people, including many from overseas, sat down to dinner on the Saturday. More than 700 Rileys of all kinds attended this Centenary Rally. (The Register’s Secretary’s 12/6 Lynx just failed to make it due to automatic clutch trouble, after having previously survived 700 miles from to and from Land’s End.

Just one more example of the very healthy state of Club rallying and the V-to-C scene is general, in this country. W B
