Number One team, Miss P.A. Ozanne and F/Lt Gilmore, signing-in at the Blackpool control on Saturday morning, prior to the final test at the conclusion of the fourth R.A.C. International Rally.

Whoa Back! — E. N. Brinkman’s Ford Zephyr sits back on its haunches as he brakes sharply after reversing over the line at Goodwood.

Fast Motoring — G. N. Dear takes his M.G. through St. Mary’s at Goodwood. The test on this circuit was run in an anti-clockwise direction, starting from Woodcote Corner.

Ladies’ Award Winner of the R.A.C. rally was Mrs. M. Walker (Triumph TR2), with a total of 492.25 marks lost, she was placed 21st in the general category.

Immaculate, — The nicely turned-out 1923 950-c.c. Gwynne driven by C. A. B. Ripley during test three at the V.S.C.C. Slough Rally. This car took a first-class award.

One-Way Traffic. — D. R. Wilkinson (Austin) follows the direction arrow in one of the driving tests of the N.E.E.C.C. Jacobean Trophy Trial. Some drivers thought they knew a better way round, resulting in a black mark on their score card.

A Fine Example of an early Sunbeam and an equally fine performance by D. Denne, in his 1913 car, earned him a first-class award in Class II at the V.S.C.C. Slough Rally.

Hard Over goes the wheel as P. Major tries to beat the stop watch in test three at Slough. His 1932 Frazer-Nash tied with another of the same marque for a first-class award, in the Post-Vintage class.

Tough Test. — The garaging test at the V.S.C.C. Slough Rally stumped quite a few competitors. D. H. Gahagan, however picked the right line and placed Erskine-Hall’s Type 57 Bugatti comfortably in the “box”

Big Twin. — G. de Jongh in the 1926, two-cylinder, air-cooled A.G.C. gets going in the acceleration test at the Slough Rally. The “radiator,” incidentally, serves as petrol storage.

Lawn Mowing. — D. Llyn-Rees takes to the verge in his Healey while competing in one of the driving tests during the Harrow C.C. trial.

Moss Trophy Trial competitor here is Mrs. N. H. Moss in her Javelin. This was one of five driving tests during the trial organised by the Harrow C.C.

A Good Effort by a young competitor, J. Pellowe (Dellow), who returned a good time for the driving test, held on the Blackpool front in the final stages of the R.A.C. International Rally.

Continental Challenge. — The D.K.W. of G. Menz. one of the German team entered in the R.A.C. Rally, well over on the promenade during the final driving test. A similar car took first place in Class I.

Crumpled Car which Prince Frederick of Prussia crashed during the R.A.C. Rally finished in spite of its battered state. W. Buschmann is seen taking the Porsche through the driving tests at Blackpool.
