Punishmen should fit the crime

Remember Mauricio Gugelmin rather absurdly being fined for getting in the way of the leaders during the 1992 French GP (despite the fact that he had more or less driven off the circuit in his attempts to keep out of the way)?

I shall be fascinated to see to what extent the governing body penalises Ayrton Senna for his infamous left-hook at Suzuka. In the past, Senna’s excesses seem to have escaped severe punishment from the authorities.

This time, surely not?
