Book news

Next month Batsford promise us the long-awaited “Sports Car Pocketbook,” a book on veteran and vintage motorcycles and a translation of the life of Fangio from the book by Olivier Merlin. Nicholson has started work on a history of British sprints, hillclimbs and trials from the earliest days onwards, and we hear of a comprehensive history of the Italian Motor Industry that is in course of preparation.

“Dunlop Mac” is writing “Fifty Years with the Speed Kings”and Stirling Moss is putting his experiences during 1957-60 into a book which will be called “A Turn of the Wheel,” and Batsford apparently intend to bring out another “Motorists’ Week-End Book” far sooner than originally anticipated.
