VSCC at Oulton Park

The Vintage SCC’s Calton Park racing is again to be a two-day meeting, this year over the week-end of June 7th 8th. At this Seaman Trophies event the historic cars will race for this Trophy on the Saturday, the vintage cars on the Sunday, with backups of six or seven more races on the first day, five or six more on the Sunday, interspersed with bicycle dices, and the traditional Concours d’Elegance. Race distances vary from four to 15 laps, with Cheshire Building Society support and racing starts at 1 15 pm on the Saturday, at 2 prn on Sunday, and there is practising to be seen on the Friday. There is even an autojumble, so this is a vintage historic occasion not to be missed. Points will be scored towards the MOTOR SPORT Brooklands Memorial Trophy and cash prizes of £325, in which the leader at present is David Black with his P3 Alta Romeo — W.B.
