After 12 years as Chairman of The Morgan Sports Car Club, Arthur Neal has stepped down.  His place is being taken by John Worrall, and the new Vice Chairman will be Patrick Kennett. Barry Iles remains as Secretary, but has a new address’ Hollands Farm, Coombe Green, Birtsmorton, Malvern, Worcestershire,Tel 068 481 566.

New premises for the Aston Martin OC will be the subject of an Extraordinary General Meeting on Wednesday 5th of November at the Vickers Building, Milbank Tower, Millbank. London SW1 at 7.00 pm. The committee is proposing that a fund be started to either build or purchase suitable premises, and Victor Gauntlett of Aston Martin Lagonda has offered a gift of £10,000 to start if off.  The Club’s Christmas Buffet and Prizegiving will be at the same venue, on Friday 12th December, and tickets can be obtained from Rosi Aslett, 38 Stroudwater Park, St George’s Avenue, Weybridge, Surrey, enclosing an SAE and a cheque for £7.50 per guest.

Ron Beatty, ex-Jaguar engineer and founder of Forward Engineering, will be the guest speaker at the celebrations for the second Anniversary of the formation of the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club.  The venue will be the Target public house, Church Road, Northolt, Middlesex, and a £2 contribution per head is requested.

Another club looking for premises is the Armstrong Siddeley OC, which urgently requires somewhere to store its stock of spares. About 10,000 sq ft is needed, and J Martin, 29 Queen Street, Bedford, would welcome any suggestions.
