Inter-register contest

The Humber Register Gt. Witley Rally on July 27th ended in a win for the Sunbeam Register. This team lost 122 points, the Fiat Register being second, losing 151 points, and the 12/50 Alvis Register third, losing 164 points. This makes the Sunbeam S.T.D. Register winners of the 1958 Inter-Register Contest. The results of the Gt. Witley Rally were:—

Best Performance: J. A. Joyce (Sunbeam). Lost 100 points.
Next Best Sunbeam: C. Carter, Lost 102 points.
Best Alvis: Collins. Lost 126 points.
Best Fiat: Grant, Lost 124 points.
Best Humber: Arman. Lost 179 points.
