Cars sought for Dundrod demo

The six Tourist Trophy races run on the famous Dundrod circuit in Northern Ireland in the 1950s will be marked by a special demonstration during the Ulster Grand Prix motorcycle event in mid-August. Dundrod retrospective

Between August 2nd and 10th, the Ulster Automobile Club is organising a estival of motorsport to commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of the last motor race to be held on the Dundrod road circuit, the 1955 Tourist Trophy. Stirling Moss, who won that race, will be present with, it is hoped, a Mercedes-Benz 300SLR, and also in hand will be Desmond Titterington who hounded Moss in a D-Type Jaguar....
