Valentino Rossi announces retirement

After 26 seasons of grand prix racing, 9 world championships and 115 wins, Valentino Rossi has announced his plans to retire from top-level riding. The 42-year-old Petronas SRT rider will enter his own team in next year's MotoGP championship and his legacy will continue with riders from his VR46 Academy.
