Cinema Club: Exclusive Screening of Grand Prix (1966)
Few films have captured the raw speed and glamour of Formula 1 quite like Grand Prix, John Frankenheimer’s 1966 cinematic masterpiece.
Join David Brabham and Motor Sport for an exclusive cinema screening of the ultimate Formula 1 racing film: Grand Prix.
From the thunder of V12 engines to the incredible shots of Monaco’s harbour-front, and the real racing drivers behind the wheel, Grand Prix remains a visceral, high-octane tribute to a golden era of racing — a time when bravery was abundant and safety margins were vanishingly thin.
Now, almost 60 years on, we’re bringing it back to the big screen in London in one special night for fans of motor sport and movie magic alike.
Taking place at the luxurious Curzon Mayfair, guests will hear from David Brabham the Formula 1 driver, Le Mans winner, and son of triple world champion Sir Jack, who raced during the period depicted in Grand Prix.
After a Q&A session hosted by Alex Brundle, where you can pose questions directly to Brabham, the lights will dim for the screening.
Tickets are available for the full evening or the screening alone.
