The makers of the Group B documentary Madness on Wheels and other films such as Grand Prix: The Killer Years are researching a new story that includes the Dakar rally.
They are currently looking for anyone who was at the Dakar rallies between 1979-2008, or indeed knows of anyone who was. The team behind the company Bigger Picture, is particularly interested in meeting anyone who covered the event as a journalist or photographer, or indeed as an amateur.
Photos and home movies of the vehicles, the entrants, the locations or anything that captured the atmosphere would be very welcome.
