{"id":13653,"date":"2014-07-07T18:34:12","date_gmt":"2014-07-07T17:34:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.motorsportmagazine.com\/issue_content\/mini-celebration-planned\/"},"modified":"2019-07-21T09:35:10","modified_gmt":"2019-07-21T08:35:10","slug":"mini-celebration-planned","status":"publish","type":"issue_content","link":"https:\/\/www.motorsportmagazine.com\/archive\/article\/january-2009\/107\/mini-celebration-planned\/","title":{"rendered":"MIni celebration planned"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To mark the mini\u2019s 50th anniversary, a special Mini Cup will be run in historic rallying in 2009 with support from Paddy Hopkirk in a bid to get more of the cars back in action.<\/p>\n<p>Created by the Historic Rally Car Register, the Mini 50 Cup will run over eight special stage rallies and will be open to all classic-specification Minis built up to 1981.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want to try and get as many Minis back onto the stages as possible,\u201d said Paul Loveridge of the HRCR.
