The long-running saga of Historic Formula Two has taken another twist: the 1600cc cars and later 2-litres have once again split up.<\/p>\n

Despite strenuous efforts, notably by 2003 organiser Terry Nightingale, to keep the classes together, the pre-1972 1600s are to switch over to the FORCE organisation in 2004.<\/p>\n

The 2-litre cars are not part of that deal, but there’s a distinct possibility that they might join the FORCE’s F5000 grids next year.<\/p>\n
