Sir, In reply to Mr. Pratt, who has attempted to prove that the Light<\/p>\n

Fifteen can out-accelerate the A70, might I point out that he has only given figures favourable to the Citroen. For example, although the Citroen is quicker from 0-40, the A70 beats it for 0-30, 0-50 and 0-60. In fact the A70 is quicker to 60 m.p.h. by 8.3 sec. He also gives times for top gear acceleration from 10-30 and 20-40. Why didn’t he give figures for 30-50 on which the A70 takes 12.2 see. and the Light Fifteen 12.5, and 40-60 on which the A70 takes 13.6 sec. and the Light Fifteen 20.0? Although a contemporary weekly gives overall fuel consumption figures in favour of the Citroen. it also shows that at any given speed the A70 uses less fuel than the Citroen.
