Nelson Piquet’s son got an insight into his father’s British Formula Three Championship-winning year of 1978 when he sampled the title-winning Ralt RT1 at Silverstone in May.<\/p>\n

Nelson Angelo, himself a leading light in British F3 this year, was watched by his triple world champion dad during a few exploratory of the Grand Prix circuit in the Toyota-engined car during the BRDC’s 75th Anniversary meeting. Nelson Snr could not get into the car, a legacy of his leg injuries.<\/p>\n
