The FIA has stepped in to try to solve the problem that has led to six Le Mans-style prototypes taking off at high speed this year. Peter Wright, head of the FIA Safety Commission, brought together designers and aerodynamicists of LMP machinery who will report back with potential solutions. <\/p>\n

Wright said aerodynamic rule changes could be introduced before the end of the season. \u201cThe obvious thing to do is bring in major changes when new rules come into force in 2010, but we don\u2019t want to wait a year and a half before acting.\u201d<\/p>\n
