Battling against superstars Clark and Hill, Maggs not only competed at the highest level in F1, but also at Le Mans, Spa and in sports cars at his home track of Kyalami with some success. <\/p>\n<p>This book recalls not only Maggs\u2019 career, but a period of the country\u2019s motor sport history from the late \u201950s to the mid-60s. Written from the perspective of four different people, there is some repetition and, with images mostly from personal sources, this makes for a somewhat disjointed read.
