Our “Correspondent on the Spot,” D.S.J., who was the passenger in the car, informs us that the accident happened on a deserted stretch of road when passing a flock of sheep, one of which leapt in front of the car, which was doing a bare 70 m.p.h. This caused it to spin backwards into a ditch.
