Monica Whincop<\/strong><\/p>\n

I am deeply saddened to hear Monica Whincop has died, but peacefully in her sleep after a long illness.<\/p>\n

When I knew her she had her 1924 A7 Chummy ‘Abdul the Damned’ and built the GN-based sprint car ‘Chatterbox’. After marrying A C (‘Twink’) Whincop she drove his Bugattis at Lewes and Prescott, and was a regular official at Bugatti OC events.
