After a break of 45 years, the island of Nassau in the Bahamas reverberated with the wail of racing engines at the start of December, as a group of classic racers took to the street circuit in the inaugural Bahamas Speed Week Revival.<\/p>\n

Sir Stirling Moss and veteran cars from the original end-of-season meet were back, including Rob Walton\u2019s Maserati 450S which came third in the Governor\u2019s Trophy in 1957, a \u201959 Bocar that had been the spare car on the Scarab team in 1960 and a Bristol-engined AC Ace that appeared in \u201958. Also back after 52 years away was the 1958 Lotus 15 Climax which won the Governor\u2019s Trophy in \u201959.<\/p>\n

As well as a concours d\u2019elegance, two events were offered for the 40-odd cars entered \u2013 a hillclimb and a sprint race.
