The M4 Sherman proved to be reliable, relatively cheap to produce, and available in great numbers<\/p>\n<p>Robust and distinctive the original clock was made to withstand heavy vibration and the rigors of battle. Its modern day namesake is made for a quieter life but is still robust in its construction and displays the time distinctly behind a thick glass lens.
