The Sherman Desk clock is cast in solid brass case directly from a WWII original found on the dash panel of the iconic American tank.<\/p>\n

The M4 Sherman, officially Medium Tank, M4, was the most widely used medium tank by the United States and Western Allies in World War II. The M4 Sherman proved to be reliable, relatively cheap to produce, and available in great numbers<\/p>\n

Robust and distinctive the original clock was made to withstand heavy vibration and the rigors of battle. Its modern day namesake is made for a quieter life but is still robust in its construction and displays the time distinctly behind a thick glass lens. A nickel plated steel base and black anodized hex fasteners add to its military provenance.<\/p>\n
