Adrian Newey drives two of his cars

For the cover story of the December issue of Motor Sport we managed to get Formula 1 designer Adrian Newey into two of his cars.

Here’s the film of our day at Silverstone with the Leyton House CG901 and Red Bull RB6. David Coulthard – who took 10 of his 13 Grand Prix victories at the wheel of Newey-designed cars – takes us through proceedings and waits with hang-wringing team principal Christian Horner while one his team’s most precious assets hares around in an F1 car.

The last bloke to do something like that must have been Jack Brabham…………………good on you Adrian!

Came across this film by accident. Fantastic! Respected magazine, with deep heritage, embraces modern comms technology. Excellent, week done.

A designer having a serious go in his own cars, absolutely brilliant! A real racer at heart, no wonder his cars are always winners.

Great video but shame on you MS for allowing music to drown out the sound of the cars!!
