The 1903 Circuit des Ardennes for voiturettes was run a day after the main event. The circuit was extended to Arlon to the south where the start and finish was repositioned. Gerard Rose reported that “the reason for this change of start being that Arlon objected to Bastogne getting the lion’s share of the benefits brought to the neighbourhood by the contest” in his seminal A Record of Motor Racing 1894-1908. The next two editions on a shorter course around Arlon were poorly supported.
