Bump!

You have read about the high opinion which the police have of themselves as drivers. So it may seem a bit droll that when taking their much-prized train-robber prisoner, Charles Wilson, from London Airport to the Isle of Wight, in a Rover, according to the Daily Express this police car was unable to stop in time when another road user stopped at a crossing. The Rover ran into the car in front and was rammed by the other police cars, the damage being sufficient to warrant transferring Wilson to a Humber which had been only slightly damaged!
