On April 13th the VSCC has its first 1984 Silverstone Race Meeting, with a High-Speed Trial preceding the eight or nine races, which include the 10-lap Pre-War Racing, Vintage Racing, Vintage road-trim sports-cars and All-Corners’ events. There will be a Parade of pre-1931 Lanchesters beforehand and racing will commence at about 1.15 pm. Admission costs £4 per person, Paddock transfer £1 extra. No dogs. Those who tend to live in the motoring past should make a note of this always enjoyable day. It will be repeated in essence, but at Donington Park, on April 28th. — W.B.
