Following discussion of fake vintage and historic cars in Motor Sport, CE Allen, the founder of the Vintage MCC, comments on the subject from the motorcycle angle, in the club journal, which is filled with interesting material. In vintage years, there used to be a Lagonda Day at Brooklands at which owners could take part in events, following Henly’s idea of an Alvis annual gathering at the Track. It is good to know that a Lagonda Fete is to be held on the Brooklands’ Museum 30-acre site on May 31 this year, and an Alvis Day on September 27.
