The excellence of the new MOTOR SPORT notwithstanding, for me one picture sums up the changes that have taken place in motor racing in the last few decades. I refer to the German Grand Prix Parting Shot photograph in the March issue. Although I was born too late to witness any of those drivers in action, I’m struck by how much more stylish they look than the modem crop of technicians (brave, skillful and dedicated as they undoubtedly are) whose sponsors require them to be as dressed as cigarette packets. I look forward to your 75th Anniversary Edition.
