Would you please allow me through your letters page to add further praise for WB? Over Christmas I read Christopher Hilton’s excellent book Hitler’s Grands Prix in England. This I thoroughly enjoyed and it served to remind me of the debt that we, motorsport enthusiasts, owe to the motoring press.
That profession can be no better represented than by WB, whose erudite jottings have spanned a good number of decades. How many regular readers, such as myself, first flick through Motor Sport on its arrival to see what WB is writing on.
Keep up the articles, with the grateful thanks of your readers.
I am, yours, etc.,
