Streamliners at Tours Retro

Two remarkable streamliners head the attractions for an event commemorating the 80th anniversary of the 1923 French GP at Tours.

Set for June 7-8, organisers hope that spectators around the 22.8km Touraine circuit will see both the Voisin Laboratoire replica and the Bugatti T30 ‘Tank’, which astonished the racing world at the time, as well as Delage V12 and Roland-Pilain racers. Sadly, no examples of the winning Segrave Sunbeam exist.

A concours and demonstration in the town centre, plus scenic road rallies, make for a busy weekend, open to all pre-1960 cars and motorbikes.
