First test for Lola-Aston

Aston Martin’s bid to win the Le Mans 24 Hours outright for the first time since 1959 has begun. The new Aston-engined Lola coupé to be run by Prodrive, the British marque’s motorsport partner, hit the ground at the Honiley test facility in Warwickshire in February. Jan Charouz, who will share the car with Stefan Mücke and Tomas Enge at Le Mans, was behind the wheel.
