I am sorry to read of Martin Brundle’s loss of sleep regarding his ‘defection’ to Sky. If it’s any consolation, I think this is due to young Martin’s faulty analogy: “I feel like I moved from McLaren to Ferrari”.
Had Martin Whitmarsh told Jenson that economies were being made based on the Robin Reliant design manual and that there were going to be 50 per cent fewer front wheels on his McLaren for 2012, I think the Button entourage would, as we speak, be camped in Modena.
So don’t worry about it, lad; catch up on the forty winks and have a great season.
