Congratulations on a brilliant piece of journalism on the Patrick Head years at Williams. Surely this era was the most interesting in recent times and through Patrick’s eyes we got a really fascinating insight into Williams’s struggle to the summit and slow slide down the other side. Let’s hope for better things this season.
I’ve never read your mag before, but felt it was £5 well spent. Having seen the Senna movie, I feel F1 is but a shadow of its former self, and to a large extent I blame Ecclestone for being a money-grubbing ruiner of races and circuits. Well done for tackling him over Bahrain. It seems he exercises a Murdoch-like hold on F1, and apart from you only Richard Williams in The Guardian ever dares to challenge him.
