Le Mans-winning Porsche 911 GT1 on ice 

The 1998 Le Mans-winning Porsche 911 GT1 was an unlikely star at the inaugural Ice Race Aspen – a three-day beano of modern and historic races amid a wintery Colorado backdrop. The Porsche was driven on the ice by ’98 Le Mans winner Stéphane Ortelli – now 53. “It was a lot of work on the wheel and the pedals,” he said, “but it really was like a ballet, and on the snow, this car can really dance.”
