Once again the Brighton and Hove Motor Club will be holding their National Speed Trials along Madeira Drive. The Trials, which take place on September 2nd, should bring a wide variety of entries ranging from racing cars of yesteryear to modern family saloons, and the first event for Sydney Allard’s new supercharged “dragster,” which was demonstrated to the press at Silverstone on July 24th, too late, unfortunately, for us to report on it.

Awards and prizes totalling £900 is the bait to lure the contestants, and entries will be accepted up to August 19th. Entry forms are obtainable from the B.H.M.C., 296-298, Madeira Arches, Brighton, 7. All-day Paddock Passes for spectators are available at £1 on application to the same address and unreserved enclosures will be 5s. and 2s. 6d. First run will commence at 9.15 a.m.
