In view of the way in which Le Mans-type starts are made ragged these days as the drivers fumble with safety harness, we wonder if Agostini was strapped to the saddle when he won the Senior T.T. for MV, lapping the dangerous I.o.M. course at well in excess of 100 m.p.h.?
